Renne Hughes  

On  February  23, 1978,   from   Fort  Worth, TX,    Ronald Regan   was   presented   with   the   original   oil    painting "Bluebonnets  in  Bloom"  as  a  gift  from  Renne  Hughes.   Once  Hollywood  western  film star, the Governor  of  the State of California  and a well liked President of the United States,  Ronald  Regan  and  wife Nancy kept  this painting

in their possession on through out their lives. The painting was then auctioned by CHRISTIES and was sold for $16,250, in 2016.
